Note: Plus-size letters are far less standardised than straight sizes: the map shown (1X to 5X across US 14W to 32W) is the most common US convention, but some plus retailers shift each letter up by about two sizes, and bust in centimetres varies several centimetres between charts, so check the brand's own chart. Letter sizes over the European numbers
Letter sizes are bands, not single points: on this chart a size such as INT L lines up with 2 neighbouring EU numbers, so the same letter can round either way between them. The table shows every EU value each band covers.
International letters sit across pairs of European numbers, so the alignment is a range. China writes the body straight into the label: the GB/T 1335 code such as 160/84A reads as height in centimetres, then bust, then a figure-type letter for the bust-to-waist drop, so the garment names the wearer's frame outright. A Western S or M carries none of that detail, which is why the measurement column matters more than the letter when European and Asian sizing meet.

Does one letter equal one EU number?
No. Each letter spans two neighbouring EU numbers, so the table shows the full range a band covers.
What does a Chinese size like 160/84A mean?
Height in centimetres, then bust in centimetres, then a letter for body type, so the label states the measurements a Western letter only implies.
