Foot length against the European last count
The EU number does not track foot length evenly: some 5 mm gains add a half size and others a whole one (EU 36 to EU 37), which is why cm-to-EU charts from different shops disagree by a size. The table above reads the step straight from foot length, so 24.5 cm lands on EU 38.
